AHTS'S ITC CYCLONE and ITC CHINOOK of 10,880 bhp were redelivered late December 2011 from their contracts to support semi submersible drilling rig TRANSOCEAN DRILLER in Santos Basin offshore Brazil.
Under contract with Wilson Sons Ultragas, pre-mooring, towage, anchor handling, supply and pollution control duties are performed for end client ONGC Videsh Ltd. which company hired the rig on a sublet from Petrobras for one well. Also due to some delay in the drilling program, support activities were completed for both vessels just before Christmas 2011.
Mid December 2010, the drilling operations were finalized and the well was closed. Preparations were made to retrieve the anchors of the rig. Our vessels completed some final cargo runs.
