For the installation of a Chevron satellite platform in the Dutch sector, a 60 m high jacket, four 60 m skirt piles and a platform deck were loaded on VIKING BARGE 7. This was performed under SHL contract.

The TEMPEST towed the loaded barge from the HSM yard in Schiedam, the Netherlands, to the installation site. Thanks to the uncharacteristically nice weather, the installation went smoothly and uninterrupted. Without any incidents, the jacket was placed, piles were driven and grouted and the deck was set and welded.
