| International Transport Contractors (ITC) started off in 1973 as commercial and operational managers for the tugs and barges owned by the Norwegian ship owners Tschudi & Eitzen. During 2003, the ownership of ITC was transferred to Mr. Felix H. Tschudi and is today part of the Tschudi Shipping Company AS. Tschudi Shipping Company is a privately controlled Norwegian ship owning company operating within the international maritime industry. The company focuses on active ownership and management of vessels and shipping related projects and companies.
Boosting on a forty years long experience, ITC combines the advantages of a relatively small organization with short communication and decision lines with a multi-discipline, inventive organization and specialized equipment. ITC owns and operates a fleet of modern anchor handling tug supply vessels, anchor handling tugs and towage & salvage tugs, and shoal busters. ITC operates on a global basis. We offer our customers the high quality solutions they require. Thanks to the experience in both long distance ocean towage and offshore support as well as anchor handling, ITC operates its vessels mainly where these markets are overlapping each other. We will continue our commitment to the non conventional marine industry and the offshore industry offering tailor made solutions with our versatile fleet and integrated ISM and ISO-9001:2008 management and quality systems. The professional services performed by well maintained vessels, manned by experienced and well trained crews are supported by an experienced office staff, including former masters and chief engineers. ITC encourages a culture of safety, innovation, and entrepreneurship amongst its employees. ITC believes in sustainability and gives its best dedicated efforts to protect the environment in which the company operates. |
